Cold Weather Advisory issued January 18 at 4:47AM CST until January 20 at 9:00PM CST by NWS Green Bay WI* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 34 zero below expected.* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, andnortheast Wisconsin.* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 9 PM CST Monday.* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 35 below zerocould cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin isexposed to these temperatures.Keep pets indoors as much as possible.Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, andunfrozen water.Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensureportable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grillsinside.Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, ahat, and gloves.
