Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.* WHERE...Portions of central, northeast, northern, and southeastWest Virginia.* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Saturday.* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, willlikely become slick and hazardous. Whiteout conditions areexpected and will make travel treacherous and potentiallylife-threatening. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardousconditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Gusty windscould bring down tree branches.If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water inyour vehicle in case of an emergency. If travel is absolutelynecessary, drive with extreme caution.
