Areas experiencing thecoldest temperatures are around the mouth of the Columbia RiverGorge and more rural areas. Locations with higher wind speeds areexperiencing apparent ("feels-like") temperatures near 30 degreesF.Those planning to venture outdoors should use common sense and dresswarmly, making sure exposed skin is properly covered to preventfrostbite and/or hypothermia.Avoid being outdoors in wet conditions which can increase the riskof the body cooling down and becoming hypothermic.
