Additional snow accumulations of 1 to3 feet above 4000 feet along the Cascade crest, and total snowaccumulations of up to 4 inches below 4000 feet. Winds gusting ashigh as 45 mph.* WHERE...East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades.* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Heavy snowfall and very low visibility will createextremely dangerous driving conditions.Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutelynecessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winterstorm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would helpyou survive in case you become stranded.Do not touch downed lines and report any power outages to yourelectric company. Travel is highly discouraged due to slick roadwaysand the possibility of downed trees and power lines.
