Flooding beginsalong the Neuse Riverwalk. Water nears the base of the holdingtank at the water treatment plant.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 8:15 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 15.2 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stageearly Wednesday morning, then rise above flood stage onceagain early Thursday morning and continue rising to a crestof 16.5 feet Saturday morning.- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
