In Vermont, Essex County.* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Sunday.* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zerocould cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin isexposed to these temperatures.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lowest wind chills likely between midnightand 7 AM.Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, ahat, and gloves.Keep pets indoors as much as possible.Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, andunfrozen water.Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors.
