Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.* WHERE...Benzie, Leelanau, and Manistee Counties.* WHEN...From 7 AM Wednesday to 1 AM EST Thursday.* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, willlikely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4mile due to falling and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions areexpected and will make travel treacherous and potentiallylife-threatening.Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutelynecessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winterstorm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would helpyou survive in case you become stranded.

Do not use generators or grillsinside.
