Localized amounts near 6 inches are possible for localesclosest to Highway 83.* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Kansas andsouthwest Nebraska.* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Sunday.* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing fog and freezing drizzle will slowlytransition to flurries or very light snow as temperatures fallthrough the teens this evening. Accumulating snow is expected latetonight and Sunday morning. North winds at 15 to 25 mph may resultin areas of blowing snow. Snow will end from west to east Sundayafternoon. Wind chill temperatures as low as 10 to 15 below zeroare expected Sunday morning.Slow down and use caution while traveling. For road conditions inKansas, Nebraska, and Colorado call 511. Do not use GPS foralternate routes or go around barricades.Persons are urged to stay indoors until conditions improve. If youmust go outside, dress in layers.
