Coastal Flood Advisory issued November 14 at 8:17AM EST until November 16 at 12:00AM EST by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expectedin low-lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to midnight EST Friday night,especially around the time of high tide.* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions ofthe seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point LoopRoad, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one to one and a half feet abovenormal. The next two high tides at Washington Channel are at6:25 PM this evening and 6:59 AM Friday morning.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
