Request to limit driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles is now in effect until at least 4 p.m. Wednesday,June 26, 2024. Continued hot and stagnant conditions will allowOzone concentrations to reach the Unhealthy For Sensitive Groupscategory on Tuesday and Wednesday. The highest concentrations areexpected in and around the Denver Metro Area.For areas included inthis advisory that are not expected to reach the Unhealthy forSensitive Groups (USG) air quality designation, we request thatactivities, such as driving non- ZEV vehicles (i.e., gas ordiesel), be reduced to lessen the impacts on neighboring airquality. Additional air pollution in this region may directlyworsen air quality or contribute to precursors which may alsoadversely affect air quality.
