Moisture will clash with established stable, dry air toproduce consistent snow for portions of the northern Panhandle.Long duration snowfall will cause accumulations to occur,particularly in the Juneau area.* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 14inches.* WHERE...City and Borough of Juneau.* WHEN...From 6 PM Monday to 3 AM AKST Wednesday.* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditionscould impact the morning and evening commute on Tuesday.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow characteristic will begin as dry andfluffy and will increase in moisture over time.
