Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 6inches.* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, Panhandle Florida, andsouthwest Georgia.* WHEN...Until 5 AM EST /4 AM CST/ Wednesday.* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, willlikely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop to 1/4mile due to falling and blowing snow. The weight of snow on treelimbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages.Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions willimpact the Tuesday evening commute, when driving could become verydangerous and potentially life threatening, especially if you getstranded without protection from the cold or a winter survivalkit. Roads will remain slippery into the Wednesday morningcommute, despite the snow having ended by that time.If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water inyour vehicle in case of an emergency. Travel is highly discouraged due to slick roadwaysand the possibility of downed trees and power lines.
