On 01.07 a cooler air mass will start to inflow into Latvia and intensive heat with air temperature of +27...+32º during the day will remain only in the eastern part of the country. BE AWARE of intensive heat! Heat causes additional stress on the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Elderly people, infants, as well as representatives of other age groups suffering from chronic diseases are exposed to the risk of health problems! During intense heat, more than usual, people choose to relax by the water, which increases the potential risk of accidents. An overheated person should not walk quickly into cold water!
