extreme cold warning in effectExtreme wind chill values near minus 40 are expected Friday morning for parts of central Saskatchewan.An arctic airmass is moving over the region, dropping overnight lows to near minus 30 and below. These temperatures combined with winds of 10 to 15 km/h will produce extreme wind chill values of minus 40 overnight Thursday and into Friday morning.Temperatures will moderate through the day on Friday.###Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.Watch for cold related symptoms: shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
