Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Murray Bridge, Leigh Creek, Moomba, Gawler, Hawker and Arkaroola. Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the North West Pastoral district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.Severe Thunderstorm Warningfor DAMAGING WINDS, HEAVY RAINFALL and LARGE HAILSTONESIssued at 3:07 pm Monday, 2 December 2024.The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Secure or put away loose items around your property. * Move cars under cover or away from trees. * Keep clear of fallen power lines. * Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water. * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains. * Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.The next warning is due to be issued by 6:10 pm.Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
