VERY HEAVY SURF which may lead to localised damage and coastal erosion is likely to develop about exposed coasts between Ulladulla and Seal Rocks tonight, extending north to Smoky Cape Friday morning. These conditions are likely to persist between Port Hacking and Seal Rocks into early Saturday morning before steadily abating. Beach conditions in these areas could be dangerous and people should stay well away from the surf and surf exposed areas. Locations which may be affected include Port Kembla, Wollongong, Sydney, Terrigal, Norah Head, Newcastle, and Port Macquarie. A separate Hazardous Surf Warning is also current. An Initial Flood Watch has also been issued.
