For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold windchills as low as 35 below expected.* WHERE...East-central and far northeast Wisconsin.* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until midnight CST tonight.For the Extreme Cold Warning, from midnight tonight to noon CSTTuesday.* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 to 35below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as10 to 20 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur ifunprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest wind chills will occur from theovernight to morning hours.Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you mustgo outside.Keep pets indoors as much as possible.Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, andunfrozen water.Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors.
