For the second Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM Tuesdayto 10 AM EST Thursday.* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero couldresult in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Frostbite andhypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to thesetemperatures. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia withprolonged exposure. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermiawith prolonged exposure.Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, ahat, and gloves.Keep pets indoors as much as possible.Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, andunfrozen water.Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors.
