Flood Advisory issued September 28 at 2:30PM EDT until September 29 at 4:00PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive runoff is expected.* WHERE...York County, South Carolina.* WHEN...Until 400 PM EDT Sunday.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Water over roadways.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 230 PM EDT, Emergency management reported minor floodimpacts along the Catawba River downstream of Lake Wylie, ineastern portions of York County. Minor flooding has beenoccurring since Friday afternoon and likely will continueinto Sunday as runoff continues, and/or as water is movedthrough the chain of reservoirs along the upper CatawbaRiver.- The Catawba River, and adjacent low-lying areas, are the mostlikely place to experience minor flooding. Buildings andparking lots will be flooded on Herrons Ferry Rd below CherryRd near Rock Hill.
