Total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches.* WHERE...The mid-Hudson Valley, eastern Catskills, central andsouthern Taconics, and the Rensselaer Plateau in eastern New York,western Massachusetts, northwest Connecticut, and southern Vermont.* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, willlikely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult toimpossible.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour arelikely, mainly from 4PM to 12AM tonight. Increasing northwestwinds gusting up to 20mph after Midnight tonight combined withchilly temperatures will result in wind chills or "feel-liketemperatures" in the single digits with sub-zero readings forelevations 1000 feet and higher.If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water inyour vehicle in case of an emergency.Be prepared for slippery roads.
