The greatest accumulations are expected across westernChautauqua, far northwest Cattaraugus, and southern portions ofErie County.* WHEN...From 7 AM Friday to 7 PM EST Monday.* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible within theheaviest portion of the band. The hazardous conditions will impactthe Friday morning and evening commutes.During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locallyheavy snow with greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions justa few miles away. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,visibility, and road conditions.Consider delaying travel. If you must travel, drive with extremecaution. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead ofyou, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
