For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold windchills as low as 25 below expected.* WHERE...In New York, Northern Warren, Western Greene, WesternUlster, and Hamilton Counties. In Vermont, Bennington and WesternWindham Counties.* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, until 7 PM EST this evening. Forthe Cold Weather Advisory, from 11 PM this evening to 11 AM ESTTuesday.* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,especially for high profile vehicles. The dangerously cold windchills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposedskin in as little as 30 minutes.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds along with the weight of snowand ice on trees will lead to an increased risk of downed treesand power lines, resulting in power outages.Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, andavoid windows.
