Winds gusting ashigh as 60 mph.* WHERE...Montgomery, Southern Fulton, and Herkimer Counties.* WHEN...Until 6 AM EST Wednesday.* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult. Areas of blowing snow couldsignificantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions couldimpact the evening and Tuesday morning commutes. Strong windscould cause tree damage. Visibilities will lower below a quartermile at times with near whiteout conditions.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds along with the weight of snowand ice on trees will lead to to an increased risk of downed treesand power lines, resulting in power outages. Heavy lake effectsnow will continue through Tuesday with the potential for nearblizzard conditions at times.
