Winds could gust as high as60 mph.* WHERE...Eastern Glacier National Park and adjacent foothills andplains.* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through late Friday night.* IMPACTS...Significant reductions in visibility and the potentialfor impassable roadways due to blowing and drifting snow, mostnotably on US Hwy 2 and 89 along the Rocky Mountain Front and onany road across the Blackfeet Nation.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest to westerly winds will begin toincrease along the Rocky Mountain Front by Thursday morning andremain strong and gusty through the remainder of the work week andinto the weekend. While these winds will bring increasingtemperatures, which will ultimately limit the blowing and driftingsnow, there will be a window from Thursday morning through Fridaynight for significant blowing and drifting of the current snowpackbefore temperatures warm sufficiently to limit the blowing anddrifting.Prepare for possible blizzard conditions.
