Coastal Flood Advisory issued November 19 at 3:36PM EST until November 20 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground levelexpected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 1 AM EST Wednesday,especially around the time of high tide.* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of theseawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road,and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one to one and a half feet abovenormal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 10:34 PM.If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may beclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water ofunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-proneproperty.
