Winter Storm Watch issued November 28 at 3:07PM AKST until December 2 at 11:00AM AKST by NWS Juneau AK...SNOW POTENTIAL CONTINUES THROUGH THIS WEEKEND....Snow continues through tonight for the central Panhandle.An additional round of heavy snow is forecasted for this weekendas warm moist air moves over the Panhandle starting Friday night.Expect snow to spread north through Saturday into Sunday, with thepotential to see nearly a foot of snow along the Icy StraitCorridor and Hyder. The Central Panhandle will also likely receivea range of 3 to 6 inches of snow Saturday into Sunday.Expect a transition to rainfall starting Saturday night for thesouthern Panhandle with rain expected along the Icy Straitcorridor by Monday afternoon.* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 8 to11 inches possible.
