From late Saturday evening snow is expected. The precipitation will shift to rain in many areas. There is also a possibility of freezing rain. Expected snow amount is 10-20 cm in 24 hours. Travel time may increase on some journeys. Local driving conditions may become difficult. Blowing snow at higher altitudes causes reduced visibility and possibly convoys and/or closed roads.Allow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.
