snow squall warning in effectSnow squalls through tonight.Hazards:Local snowfall accumulations possibly exceeding 20 cm by tonight.Very poor visibility at times in heavy snow and local blowing snow.Timing:Ending overnight.Discussion:Snow squalls off the North Channel and Georgian Bay will affect the area through tonight. The worst conditions are expected along Highway 6 between Little Current and Whitefish Falls as well as portions of Highway 69 south of Key River. As is common with snow squalls, snowfall amounts will be highly variable.###Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Road closures are possible.Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
