winter storm watch in effectBlizzard likely Friday morning through Saturday morning.Strong northwesterly winds gusting up to 70 km/h will develop early Friday morning as another low pressure system crosses southern Kivalliq into Hudson Bay. Given the current forecast storm track and intensity, blizzard conditions will likely begin sometime Friday morning and continue Friday night, before ending through the day on Saturday. Mild temperatures on Thursday will also plummet with the strong northwesterly winds, falling back to near the -30 degrees Celsius mark by Friday night.
