Hazard: - Heavy snow followed by rain on snow may result in difficult driving conditions. - Localised flooding possible with heavy rain on snow Remarks: After heavy snowfall since Tuesday night, Stewart has accumulated 40 to 55 cm of snow. Another system will bring heavy snowfall starting this evening, with total accumulations of 25 to 40 cm expected by Monday morning. On Monday, snow will transition to a mix of snow and rain, eventually changing to rain. There is a risk of freezing rain during the transition. Heavy rain is anticipated on Tuesday and Wednesday, which may lead to flooding in low-lying areas, slushy conditions, and potential travel delays.###Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.Winter storm warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together.Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
