Where: Prince George, Stuart - Nechako, Lakes District, Bulkley Valley, near the Cariboo Mountains, Yellowhead, McGregor, Williston, Pine Pass, and Yellowhead Highway - Tête Jaune Cache to the Alberta Border.Snowfall accumulations tonight and Saturday: 10 to 15 cm, except 15 to 25 cm for the southern sections of Bulkley Valley, Burns Lake, Fort St. James, and near Highway 97 north of Prince George.Remarks: An approaching Pacific frontal system will bring another round of heavy snow. Light snow from the system this evening will intensify overnight and will continue through Saturday. Total snowfall accumulations will range from 10 to 15 cm. Local accumulation of up to 25 cm is possible.The next system on Sunday will push most of the snow northward, towards Pine Pass. There is a risk of brief, localized freezing rain on Sunday and possibly Monday morning over the central interior regions. Prepare for slippery surfaces.A warming trend is expected starting on Monday. Freezing levels are rising to 2000 to 2500 metres. Melting snow can give messy outdoor conditions early next week after several days of heavy snow.###Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
