DAMAGING WINDS, averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h, are forecast in the warning area during Thursday morning and early afternoon, with the risk easing in the mid to late afternoon. Severe thunderstorms are also possible across much of the west of the State. A separate Severe Thunderstorm Warning will be issued for these areas if required.
