DAMAGING WINDS, averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h, are forecast in the warning area this morning and afternoon, with the risk easing in the late afternoon. Severe thunderstorms are also possible across much of the west of the State. A separate Severe Thunderstorm Warning will be issued for these areas if required. Locations which may be affected include Port Lincoln, Ceduna, Wudinna, Elliston, Cleve and Nullarbor.Severe Weather Warningfor DAMAGING WINDSIssued at 10:02 am Thursday, 3 October 2024.The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Move vehicles under cover or away from trees; * Secure or put away loose items around your property. * Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.The next Severe Weather Warning will be issued by 5:00 pm ACST Thursday.Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210.
